Eric von Bratt
Eric von Bratt is a Cape Town-based entrepreneur and the CEO of Engage24 Digital Agency, a full-service digital marketing agency he founded over 15 years ago. With a Post-graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing, Eric has spent his career helping hundreds of South African and international businesses grow their digital presence.
The idea for Story Books Online came from a deeply personal place. Like many people, Eric found himself wishing he had asked his parents and grandparents more questions while he still had the chance — about their childhoods, their struggles, their proudest moments, and the wisdom they had accumulated over a lifetime. When it was too late, those stories were gone forever.
"I kept thinking about all the stories I never heard," Eric reflects. "My grandmother lived through extraordinary times, but I never thought to ask her about them while she was alive. I didn't want other families to have that same regret."
Drawing on his digital expertise, Eric built Story Books Online as a simple, guided way for families to capture the stories of their loved ones — one thoughtful question at a time — and turn them into a beautifully printed book that can be treasured for generations.
